Hi Tuckahoe Square Dancers!!
What a fun square dance we had last Friday with Jeremy. We danced to “mean” Jeremy who took us through the paces…fast!! Then we danced to “nice” Jeremy who was calling nicely at the regular pace. Not sure who we liked the best, but my guess is “nice” Jeremy. But we had a blast and lots of fun!! Dave Trimble was our Line Dance Leader who added to the dance night. Sally and Martha provided the refreshments which were good and tasty. Thanks to Jeremy, Dave, Sally and Martha for a fun square dance evening.
This Friday, October 6th , our guest caller is Doren McBroom from Maryland at All Saints Episcopal Church. We are looking forward to Doren calling for us again on Friday.

DON’T FORGET: The VIRGINIA STATE FAIR started September 29th through October 8th and there is squaring dancing demos with audience participation. The State Fair is held at the Meadow Event Park in Doswell. Entry tickets and parking passes are available for volunteer dancers. Contact Connie Cox at 434-298-1206 or by email email@example.com if you can participate and when you are available to dance. Connie still needs square dancers for each day to complete a square. It will be a great time to demonstrate square dancing to the public.
November 11th – the annual VASCA Symposium with Jack Pladdys. The morning and afternoon sessions are open to anyone who just love to square dance. The evening dance session is always a delight with square dancing, rounds, and lines.
Let’s “Load the Boat” with everyone square dancing and enjoying the fun.
