Tuckahoe Update 11-21-2017

Happy Thanksgiving Day to all!!!!

WOW!!  What a fun square dance we had last Friday night with Gene Chamberlain calling and our student dancers joining us. We had a wonderful time and the new dancers were doing great. As always Gene was awesome keeping everyone dancing both seasoned and new. Joy lead the line dancers to good music adding to the fun evening. Helen and Bev provided the good refreshments to top off the night. The dance was enjoyed by all. Thanks to Allen and Lis for helping with opening and set up. Thanks Gene, Joy, Helen, and me!!!!

This Friday, November 24th, our guest caller will be Ken Jordan and we look forward to Ken calling for us again….so plan on a fun evening of square dancing. Also, don’t forget…this Friday the members will be bringing their Thanksgiving Day delicious leftovers, food and/or desserts, to share with all at the dance.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
We need volunteers to bring refreshments for the December 8th Friday night dance with Jeremy Butler calling. Scout was initially signed up to bring the snacks, but she is and still will be home recuperating. Please let me know if you can provide some snacks for that night. If several pitch-in with something, we should do just fine.

Also need some volunteers to help with the decorating for the December 15th Holiday Dance. Please let me know if you can help.  Thanks.
